Three Football Coaches To Be Inducted Into Alabama High School Hall of Fame

Current T. R. Miller High School head football coach Jamie Riggs, former Randolph County head coach Ron Watters and current Alabama High School Athletic Association executive director and former head football coach Steve Savarese will be inducted as part of the 20th class of the Alabama High School Sports Hall of Fame Monday night in Montgomery.

Riggs, who in 20-years at T.R. Miller, has made it to the state semifinals 14 times, owns a career record of 247-64.

Watters, who is still active as an assistant at Handley High School, coached Randolph County for 22-years...amassing a 152-96 overall record.

Savarese owns a 281-98 record as a head football coach at several high schools, including winning state titles in Alabama and Kansas.
