#2 Prattville Runs the Table To Win Alabama 6A Title


Prattville, which entered Saturday's Alabama Super 6 6A title game ranked #2 in the nation by USA Today, made it back-to-back titles shutting out Spain Park 14-0.

Prattville played without its star running back Jerrod Williams. In his place Justin Albert picked-up the MVP award by carrying the ball for 120-yards on 17 carries. On defense, the Lions shutdown Spain Park limiting the Jaguars to 31 yards on 25 carries.

Leroy Becomes Three-Time Alabama Champ


Leroy scored two fourth quarter touchdowns to come-from-behind to beat Fyffe on Friday to win its third straight Alabama 2A high school football championship. Leroy quarterback Clint Moseley set 2A passing records by completing 17-of-27 passes for three touchdowns. Moseley ended-up with 243 yards passing.
