Sweet Water got the three-peat on Thursday beating Speake 42-0 for the Alabama 1A high school football championship. Leeds capped a perfect season Thursday beating defending Alabama 3A champ Cordova 38-21. The title is the first for the Blue Devils since the 1995 season. Click here for game story.
UMS-Wright became the first Alabama school to win four Class 4A titles Thursday with a 41-7 win over Cherokee County. After winning Super Six crowns in 2001, 2002, 2005, the Bulldogs spent two years in 5A before returning to 4A this season. Click here for game story.
