by Jeff Fisher
Alabama High School Football Huddle

T.R. Miller did something that ten opponents couldn't do to defending 3A champ Leeds last season. The Tigers beat Leeds 27-7 Saturday night in the Champions Challenge in Montgomery. By scoring 27 points, T.R. Miller scored one more point in one game than the Green Wave allow during the entire 2008 regular season. Check-out the game wrap-up by al.com

by Jeff Fisher
Alabama High School Football Huddle

Alabama's defending 4A champ UMS-Wright took to the practice field Monday for the beginning of high school football practice in Alabama. The first three days of pre-season camp are for conditioning, then tomorrow the pads go on.

Below is a great story from FOX 10 in Mobile on how the coaches and staff for the Bulldogs are making sure that the players are able to deal with the heat that gets very intense during two-a-days.
