With two-a-days beginning in less than a month, I wanted to take the time to thank all of my readers, who have made this blog successful over the past three years.  I have bigger-and-better things planned this year with more original content, while remaining THE site for high school football news across the state.

First practice - August 2nd
First Contest - August 26th

Playoffs Rounds 1-4 - Nov. 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th

Super 6 Finals - Dec. 2nd & 3rd

ESPN to Air Hoover/Byrnes Showdown

Officials have announced that Hoover's August 28th showdown with South Carolina-power Byrnes will be broadcast live on ESPN from Rock Hill's District Stadium 

The Herald reports that a news conference was held at Northwestern High School in South Carolina on Tuesday to announce that Byrnes and Hoover will play at noon before a national television audience.  At the same time today, officials announced that that game will be followed by a South Carolina showdown between South Pointe and Northwestern.  

That game will start at 4 o'clock and be shown on ESPNU.
