Jeff Davis High School is hoping that former G.W. Carver offensive coordinator Lee Carter can help the Volunteers back from last season's 0-10 record.MontgomeryAdvertiser.com reports that Carter will bring his high-power offense to Jeff Davis. Carter replaces Vincent Wiggins, who was 6-15 in two seasons as head coach.
The Volunteers own two state championships (1978 & 1996) and enter the 2013 overall record of 316-163-6, according to the Alabama High School Football Historical Society.
