With the Alabama high school football season set to begin the postseason this weekend, the Alabama High School Sports Writers Association has released its final football poll of the 2010 season.

In the end, only Hoover (6A) and Leeds (3A) started the season #1 and finished it in the same position. In the other classes in the pre-season poll...Russellville was the preseason #1 in 5A; UMS-Wright was the top choice in 4A; Reeltown was #1 in 3A; and Sweet Water was the top pick in 1A. Only UMS-Wright didn't finish in the Top 10 in the regular season poll.
